Big Beautiful Green Grocery Haul.

Back in college I used to love going to the wonderful Westwood Whole Foods, it was a cathartic experience for me, relaxing and roaming the aisles with a cup of coffee exploring new organic brands. This however, was before Amazon and Instacart.  Ever since that transition I have found the experience not as lovely, quite frankly, Whole Foods on California is stressful af.

Yes, Trader Joes, super cost effective and great for ballin’ on a budget.  It is unfortunate they wrap their produce in plastic and most their items have additives such as Xanthum Gum… I may be the only girl in the Marina with the unpopular opinion that Everything But The Bagel Seasoning is disgusting. Sorry Tj’s.

Moving on, I use a delivery service called Good Eggs to deliver all my groceries.  Most of you know I teach classes at Thoroughbred and then head straight to my school to report to duty.  Therefore, I prep all my lunches the evening before for a full day of activities.  This saves me both time and money.

Sustainability and grocery delivery is another huge moral dilemma.  As a company, Good Eggs is doing everything in their power to have the smallest carbon footprint as possible.  All their products are extraordinarily local bay area farms or kitchens, the produce is delivered either bag-less or in compostable bags(that you can reuse in your compost container).  And lasly, when Good Eggs delivers your new groceries they pickup your old boxes so that they can reuse them for the next customer.

I can’t recommend Good Eggs enough.  One of the best parts is that it doesn’t overwhelm the customer.   You all know online grocery stores that have every brand under the sun and the customer has to sift through every product?  Yeah well Good Egg’s doesn’t have every option, it has every option that Caitlin wants and has done extensive previous research on.  If you plan on making the switch to Good Eggs and want a $25 credit on your first order you are welcome to tap this link and use my code:

And here are my tried and true items I purchase weekly to get me through long hours! Lots of veggies and lots of carbs.  I order all my non-perishables on Thrive market, but that’s better saved for another post.  If any of you ever have a question about a product or the quality of ingredients behind it, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me to ask, I LOVE checking up on products. Additionally, any items marked ‘unavailable’ will become available shorty, it just depends on how many people want them at a given time.
